The Call of Duty®: MW3 content season kicks off this month first on Xbox LIVE delivering a variety of brand new content every month over the next 9 months for Call of Duty ELITE premium members. Published by Activision, the developers from Infinity Ward, Sledgehammer Games, Raven Software and Beachhead Studio introduce the first two Call of Duty ELITE drops, multiplayer maps Liberation and Piazza, available to our premium members first on Xbox LIVE on January 24th. For non-premium members, the content is coming to you as well, stay tuned for dates. And this is only the beginning..

As of right now Savage Response Unit is officially relaunched. We have been working hard to bring you many website features. We are far from done with our features.

We are working on a Game Information section.
Savage Response Unit Store (Including Apparel, Call of Duty games, accessories, etc)
Awards based on actual Call of Duty Trophies and Attachments
Updated events for planned matches
Recruiting more members
... and more.

More Details on the Call of Duty Elite Mobile Apps

The Beachhead Studio team was kind enough to give us some new info on the ELITE Mobile App. Here’s what we were able to obtain:



“Oh man, I love numbered lists. Here are some answers:

1)Can we get some screenshots and maybe a video of how the app works/looks?

Soon. This will come from our PR guys first, and will be coming soon. If you search the web you will see some older screenshots. It’s changed a bit since then.

2)Can Premium Members watch ELITE TV on the apps?

That is a future goal (also for the Console App) but it is not in the cards yet.

3)What app will be released first? (iOS or Android)

I need to confirm this, but we are going for near-simultaneous release.

4)What is the status of the android app?

5)What is the latest news on the iOS App?

“Both are in the final stages of “load testing” where we simulate the traffic from the app as if thousands of users were using it simultaneously to help ensure that the app works on day 1. We are being very meticulous about this testing because we need to avoid the instability that you guys suffered under in November and early December.

Once this testing is complete, we will give the app the green light and it will be ready for release.
